Master of Information Assurance Faculty

Stamos T. Karamouzis Professor Karamouzis is the dean of the School of Computer & Information Sciences at Regis University. Prior to joining Regis, he headed the Computer & Information Sciences department at Texas A&M University. Over the past 20 years he has taught computer science at the undergraduate and graduate levels at a number of institutions, including the College of William & Mary, Tulane University, and the University of Macedonia in Greece. Dr. Karamouzis' research interests include distance education technologies, domain modeling, and the impact of technology on society. Prior to his academic career, he conducted research at NASA's Langley Research Center. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the College of William & Mary.

Dan Likarish Dan Likarish is an Assistant Professor and the program chair for the Information Technology Department at Regis University, where he is responsible for the Information Assurance and Systems Engineering curriculum. He is also the Director of the Colorado Front-Range Center on Information Assurance Studies and the principle investigator for major grants from the Colorado Institute of Technology, CISCO, Hewlett Packard, and Hitachi Data Systems. Professor Likarish's research and teaching interests include the design of Web 2.0 teaching tools, work flow for 21st-century knowledge workers, and distributed secure trusted systems.
